Jaya Bachchan cuts a sorry figure
Jaya Bachchan fabricated a new sensation when she condemned her son Abhishek Bachchan’s film ‘Happy New Year’.
Speaking at the event, the actor said, “‘HNY’ is the most nonsensical film I’ve seen in recent years. I said that to the films lead actor as well. I watched it only because Abhishek was part of it. I told him he’s a great actor if he can act stupid in front of the camera like that. I can’t be part of what is being done in films these days and hence I don’t do films anymore.”
It seems her words have not gone down too well with SRK. However, the Bachchan clan is really repenting their decision. As quoted by a leading website Amitabh Bachchan apologised to SRK through a text message on his wife’s behalf. Later, the yesteryear actress went explaining her words but all in vain .
Also, Abhishek and Aishwarya reportedly visited Shah Rukh’s house to apologise directly but he was unavailable.
