Wait, did I notice Parineeti Chopra there?

Bollywood is a place where competition and stardom lies at the peak of those who are involved in this business. Actors need to look good, dress according to the latest fashion trends and live up to the expectations of the people. It’s all about being in shape and looking glamorous. The moment a film star steps out, the paparazzi and the fashion police are there: noting down and either praising or criticizing the look of the actor. In this glamorous and oomph lifestyle, enters a Chopra, not the diva Priyanka but her cousin, Parineeti Chopra.

We all know that Parineeti was not interested in films and had aspired to pursue a career in investment banking. Thank God for the 2009 recession in the UK for she returned to India and got mesmerized about the film industry and started working for Yash Raj Films (YRF).

Although she had the backing of her successful cousin Priyanka, looking glamorous and following the latest fashion trends was not her cup of tea. Ever since her debut film ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’, she has been on the hit list of the fashion police: for her weight, her non-fashionable attire and her wardrobe malfunctions. But from being a humongous 86 kgs, the actor has transformed from a huge city to a small village.

She’s a die-hard foodie and is full of energy. Working hard and shutting down her haters, she has transformed with a bang.

Now some of you may be thinking that I’m a Parineeti Chopra fan here and praising her but I happened to come across her images on social media and she was looking like a princess.

So wait, was it the Parineeti Chopra I had seen years ago? Well…. yes she definitely was!

Although I like her transformation and her look at Kaun Banega Crorepati for the promotion of her upcoming film ‘Kill Dil’, the actor has still got to set all the pins at the right place. While some appearances get a 9/10, there were some that didn’t click too much. Although there may be a lot of pressure from the audience and the industry, little miss Chopra, you are doing a little bit fine.
