‘Bigg Boss 8’ – Is This The End Of P3G?

They say that friends today can be foes tomorrow in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house and that is exactly what we witnessed in today’s episode. A huge fight broke out between Gautam on one side and Praneet and Pritam on the other during the captaincy task and it literally took the house by storm. While tension had been brewing between Gautam and Praneet, things reached a new level in today’s episode.

 

IT ALL STARTED WITH THE CAPTAINCY TASK

 

 

 

It all started during the captaincy task where the four captain nominees – Pritam, Dimpy, Praneet and Gautam had to hold on to a small wheel. The last to keep on it would be the house’s new captain. Initially, things seemed fine as all four peacefully sat together, holding on. Soon enough, the drama started with the topic of discussion being the friendship between Gautam and his two other mates – Pritam and Praneet. Things started getting heated, until Gautam started telling the two, how the percentage of friendship and trust had dropped between them. He looked at both, Pritam and Praneet indvidually and counted down from 100% to 40%, 30% and so on.

That was the final blow. Praneet immediately lost his temper and before you knew it, things became bad. While Praneet resorted to shouting and screaming, Gautam chose to respond in an instigating, yet calm manner. The whole house almost came to a standstill and finally, Praneet, threw the wheel away from his hands, patted Gautam slightly hard on the back (that Gautam even referred to as bal ka prayog) and walked away. Enraged by the “violence,” Gautam lost his cool too, and went on to scream and kick a chair.

In solidarity with Praneet and upset over Gautam’s measure of friendship. Pritam too left the wheel leaving only Gautam and Dimpy. It took her, literally 2 seconds to leave the wheel then.

 

 

WHERE WAS PUNEET ISSAR

 

 

 

An interesting point to note during this fight was the absence of Puneet Issar throughout. He quietly stood in the kitchen, minding his own business while his P3G members were having a shouting match among themselves. It was only much later, after Gautam was appointed captain, that Puneet had a word with him.

 

 

DIMPY THE INSTIGATOR?

 

 

 

Throughout the captaincy task, as the tension brewed, it was almost as if Dimpy was constantly adding fuel to the fire. Very obviously on Gautam’s side, she agreed to almost everything he said. When the fight did break out, she even commented on what sort of friends Praneet and Pritam were. It was perhaps because of this reason that even Pritam went up to Dimply later on and accused her point blank of breaking the group up. She defended herself, but couldn’t take it for long and eventually headed to the bathroom to let the tears flow, while Gautam consoled her.

But it’s not only Pritam who noticed this behaviour of Dimpy. During the task, Nigaar and Renne too, were discussing the same topic.

 

 

A TOUGH ROAD FOR THE CAPTAIN

 

 

 

 

It’s not going to be easy for the newly assigned captain. With almost every member refusing to co-operate and take up the work assigned to them, with Pritam even refusing to sit for the meeting, we’re definitely curious to see how Gautam will manage to keep the house in order.
