Fawad Khan’s ‘Leap of Faith’
Revisit your memories if you watched 2007 talk of the town film ‘Khuda Ke Liye’. Superstar Fawad Khan made his acting debut with this film and it was one of the biggest blockbuster of the year in Pakistan. He played the lead role of Sarmad who turns an Islamic hardliner in the film. While ‘Khuda Ke Liye’ tasted success at the box office as it was the highest grosser of the year, He won the Lux Style Award for Best Actor for his stellar performance in the film.
Khan is one of the renowned faces of Pakistan and stands among the highest paid actors. The actor is no more a fresh talent India as he is intensifying popularity with his television show Zindagi Gulzar Hai being aired in India. Fortuitously, the TV show aired just before the trailer launch of his big banner Bollywood film Khoobsurat. Fawad plays the lead actor Zaroon Junaid in the show which is one of the highest rated Pakistani serial.
Khan is just not an actor, but gifted with other talents of singing and thus a illustrious singer. He was the lead singer of the Pakistani rock band Entity Paradigm and released his first album Irtiqa in 2003. After leaving the band due to his work commitments, he again reunited with the group to perform ‘Bolo Bolo’ in Season 3 of the popular television music series Coke Studio.
Before venturing into singing and acting the multitalented actor was a model. The chocolate hero started his modelling at a tender age of thirteen. Standing at about 5 feet 10 inches with stubble which adds to his looks, He usually makes girls miss a heartbeat with his glance.
For all those enchanted by the charm of the dishy actor take deep breath. The actor is already married to the love of his life Sadaf Fawad, whom he met during tuition classes at the age of seventeen. The two fell head over heels in love and got married in 2005 after eight years of courtship. Happily married since a decade, Fawad and Sadaf are also blessed with son Ayaan Khan.
Although gifted with excellent modeling, acting and singing skills, Fawad Afzal Khan aspired to become an aeronautical engineer or a pilot in his childhood. He holds a graduation degree in telecom engineering from the National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences, Lahore. But life had different plans for the handsome hunk. He was spotted by filmmaker Anjum Shahzad while performing a high school play. After making his small screen debut with the show Jutt and Bond, he finally starred in Anjum’s travel and adventure show Satrangi.
Talking about his fan base he has a huge following not just in Pakistan but in India as well.
