Son Abhishek to do a cameo in Big B’s Shamitabh
Junior B is all set to share screen space with dad Big B once again in Shamitabh. However sadly it will just be a cameo.
Abhishek, who is also the producer of the movie made the announcement during Filmfare press conference. “I have done a passing role in Shamitabh,” the actor was quoted as saying.
The actor has shared screen with daddy Bachchan twice before for Sarkaar and Paa. So it will be six years since we saw this father son duo give some great performance on silver screen.
Well good for you Abhishek. Seems like dad’s acting skills are contagious ‘coz out of all the performances we loved you best in Sarkaar and Paa.
Besides Junior Bachchan, Rekha too will be seen in a cameo role. Quite sensational! Right?
The story revolves around Amitabh bachchan and Dhanush who is a mute artist but comes to Mumbai with big dreams. On the other hand Mr. Bachchan plays the role of a voice-over artist who lends his voice to Dhanush. And then begins the rivalry between the two.
The movie is directed by R. balki. After Cheeni Kum and Paa this will be Big B’s third movie with the director. The superstar has admitted to finding Balki’s script quite interesting. “Whenever Balki comes to me with a script, my initial reaction is that he must be drunk – his scripts are so unique. When he narrated me the story of Shamitabh I was surprised,” the veteran was quoted as saying.
The movie Shamitabh is already making a lot of news. Recently released trailers have almost everyone talking about the flick. Seems to us some power packed performance is in the pipe to blow away audiences coming month. The movie releases on February 6.
