Bollywood Celebrities Welcome Ganpati at their homes
Lord Ganpati lives in the heart of Bollywood celebrities. Now Ganpati is living in their home as well. Festive season has freshened up the mood of Bollywood celebrities. Film stars have taken a day off from the tight schedules of work on Friday to get drenched in the colors of Ganpati festival. Many actors have welcomed Ganesha by installing idol either at their homes or offices. Some celebrities have taken Ganpati along with them to Twitter by chanting ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’.
Dimple girl Deepika Padukone have made an appearance, totally dressed up in typical Maharashtrian Sari to the sets of her upcoming movie-‘Happy New Year’. She surprised her fans by extending her warm wishes on the most celebrated festival of Mumbai. The entire star cast of film consisting King Khan- Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bacchan, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani, tweeted the wishes by posting a picture to their loving fans on Twitter.
Dabang Khan- Salman Khan, just like every year hosted an auspicious Ganesh Puja at his place which was attended by his Khandaan, his family members. Salman’s mother Salma is originally a Maharashtrian. Now we know from where he got the zeal and joy to regularly celebrate Ganesh Festival. He celebrates Ganesh festival with the same zeal and aplomb as he celebrates Eid. Secularism shall prevail. On the request of her younger sister Arpita Khan, Salmaan installed the Ganesh’s idol few years back, in the first place.
Savoring the success of her latest release Mardaani, Rani Mukherjee was spotted marking her glorious presence at glistening pandal, offering prayers and seeking blessings. This year most of the celebrities have vowed to go green in celebrations of the festival with eco Ganesha. They are concerned by the alarming increase of pollution rate in the city, so they do not want to pollute the sea.
Dancer and Film maker Prabhu Deva was also seen at an eco friendly celebration. Yesteryear actress and mother of super star Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Singh was nostalgic about the lavish Ganpati festival celebration that her father in law and fabulous film maker Raj Kapoor used to organize. Veteran actress this year settled for nothing less than an eco-Ganesha, since it is beneficiary in combating to the alarming increase in pollution.
Singer Asha Bhosale and actress Padmini Kolhapure joined Shraddha Kapoor and her family for the festive celebrations at her residence.
Actor Jeetendra, who is so religious about the celebrations of the festival; he organized a grand puja at his residence. His children Tusshar Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor joined him for the celebrations.
No Puja can be started without worshiping Lord Ganpati. Ganpati blesses his children with prosperity and health. He is the vighanharta. Bollywood celebrities do not want to miss out a chance to seek the blessings of Ganpati. So they have welcomed Ganpati with hustle and bustle. The pandals are adorned with the presence of Deva. Where celebrities would pay frequent visits and make it a starry and glitzy affair.
