Happy New Year Box Office Collection: Movie on a Record Breaking Spree!
Most films wait days, sometimes even weeks to cross the 100 crore mark, but Farah Khan’s latest release, ‘Happy New Year’ has achieved this feat in it’s opening weekend itself! The film has surpassed the records of ‘Dhoom 3’ at the domestic box office by raking in 108.86 crores in the first 3 days of it’s release.
The film, one of the biggest releases of this year had earned a breaking amount on it’s first day; thanks to the huge hype surrounding the film ,a fabulous cast and the Diwali holiday season. They film earned 44.97 crores on the first day, the highest in the history of Bollywood.
While the film did see a dip in collections on Saturday and Sunday, it still managed to place itself on the top of the table for now.
The film, produced by Red Chillies starrs Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah.
