Kapil Sharma -Hypocritical much? Refuses to host Hate Story 2 cast.
Ever since Comedy Nights With Kapil went on to become a raging hit, there has been no looking back for the once just another comedian among a heap of others, Kapil Sharma. His show boasts of raring TRPs which give the prime time soap opera’s a run for their money. He has acquired sufficient fan following in a short span of time and considers himself no less than established stars of the television industry, which might actually be true going by the number of his stage shows and his increased fee.
However, some people believe that success has not gone down well with India’s ace comedian for he is getting whimsical and giving his co- actors a hard time while shooting. Not surprisingly, Kapil has been involved in a plethora of controversies ranging from Gutthi, (a popular character on Kapil’s show) a.k.a Sunil Grover leaving the show due to creative differences, later the Bollywood baddie Kamaal R khan also accused him of threatening him. This has managed to put Kapil in the limelight for all the wrong reasons.
Kapil uses all kinds of sexist and sexual innuendos as his staple feature, interviewing celebrities and promoting their films. . He was in news recently when he flatly refused to host the adult star Sunny Leone for her upcoming film Ragini MMS 2. Later, he modified his stance and the episode came out fantastic. However this time Kapil Sharma might have bitten more than he could chew when he refused to host the star cast of Hate Story 2 and that too citing the old, outdated reason of the film belonging to the “erotic thriller” genre.
Now, one might easily raise the question if that was the only reason why Kapil refused to have the star cast since Sunny Leone had been on the show only days ago. The insiders however have a completely different version to tell. They say that Kapil did not want to host the “smaller” TV stars as he believes that it is beneath his persona. A case of misplaced stardom eh?
If this is the track Kapil keeps following, this ruthless industry might soon write him off.
