The Marvel universe has diversified to a large extent since its origin on the big screen. Irrespective of whether one has read the comics or not, everyone has developed a longing for the Marvel characters. Here’s a list of the much awaited Marvel movies in 2015-16.
- Avengers: Age of Ultron
Releasing on1st May 2015, The Avengers reunite to fight one of the most powerful villain of the marvel universe- Ultron. For the characters of Utron and Vision, the body and voice of actors James Spader and Paul Bettany will be used. This film will also feature the brother- sister bond between Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver.
- Ant- Man
Introducing a whole new kind of hero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ant-Man will center on the titular costumed vigilante, whose power allows him to shrink in size while maintaining proportional strength. Paul Rudd will star as Scott Lang, while Michael Douglas will play Dr. Hank Pym. The film is set to release on July 17, 2015.
- X-men Origins: Deadpool
As soon as the latest Deadpool test footage was leaked, this film has created quite a buzz. Deadpool was first seen as Wade Wilson or Weapon X played by Ryan Reynolds in X-men Origins: Wolverine. Deadpool is the only character in the Marvel universe who is known to break the fourth wall. The initial release is set in February 2016.
- X-men Origins: Gambit
Channing Tatum is officially set to play Gambit in an upcoming “X-Men” spinoff movie, sources confirm. The movie is set to release in 2016, a few months after X-men Origins: Deadpool. Gambit’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was not well received by the fans since there were many iconic Gambit characteristics ignored in the movie X-men Origins: Wolverine. - Captain America: Civil War

After the success of Captain America- The Winter Soldier, Marvel Cinematic Universe announced it’s Sequel. This film is expected to see Tony Stark (Iron Man) at odds with Steve Rogers (Captain America). We’ll also get to see Chadwick Boseman make his debut as Black Panther. Anthony and Joe Russo are set to direct. The initial release date is set at May 2, 2016. Official Trailer not yet released.

After years of battling Magneto, the X-men now will face Apocalypse. The last X-men film showed a glimpse of Apocalypse’s powers indicating that this mutant has been around for a VERY long time… and at one point in this existence, he was viewed to be a god. This film will also debut his four horsemen. X-Men: Apocalypse is set to be released in 27th May, 2016.
